Annual Outstanding Achievement Awards 2025

This year, the College hosted our Annual Outstanding Achievement Awards at Epsom Downs Racecourse on Thursday 3rd July. This celebration honours the achievements of our leavers on completion of their college courses and provides a wonderful opportunity to bring families, carers, staff and other guests together to watch as students are awarded a certificate describing their greatest successes over the past year. After the certificates are awarded and the buffet dinner, the party unfolds with dancing and celebration alongside non-stop music from a live DJ.

Special guests were invited to help present the awards, including The Worshipful the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell Councillor Robert Leach, Laurie Cornwell, Deputy CEO Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust (OHC&AT), Ben Walsh, Principal of St Philip’s School, Carolyn Scott, SEND Commissioning Lead, London Borough of Sutton, Julia James Executive Director of Quality & Standards OHC&AT, Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Director, Education and Early Help, London Borough of Merton, Kelly Phillips, Executive Principal of Orchard Hill College and Sir Peter Lauener, Chair of Orchard Hill College Trustees.

Kelly Phillips said, “Our Outstanding Achievement Awards not only brings together our entire college community to celebrate the many successes of our students during their time here, but also highlights the future opportunities and paths these achievements have created for our students, preparing them for their future lives as active members of the wider community.”
