A Day to Remember at the Houses of Parliament

Two students from the Sutton region recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament, thanks to an invitation from Bobby Dean, MP for Carshalton and Wallington.

Bobby first met the students when he visited the College to record an episode of a student led Podcast ‘Westminster Unfiltered’, which you can listen to HERE or on Spotify.

During their visit students, Joseph and Morgan, enjoyed a guided tour of Parliament, including a very special moment in the House of Commons chamber, where they watched Keir Starmer give a speech about the situation in Gaza. This is usually something that only happens during Prime Minister’s Questions.

Both students represented the College brilliantly, showing off their political knowledge, and curiosity throughout the day.
