A night to remember at our Outstanding Achievement Awards and Prom
The highlight of the Orchard Hill College calendar returned this summer as learners, families, carers and staff came together for a memorable evening celebrating the achievements of our 2026 leavers at the Leavers’ Awards and Prom, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse.
Dressed for the occasion, learners arrived looking fantastic and ready to celebrate the end of an important chapter in their lives. The evening began with a special awards ceremony, where every leaver proudly received a personalised certificate recognising their achievements, progress and individual journey during their time at Orchard Hill College.
Awards were presented by a number of distinguished guests, including The Worshipful the Mayor of Epsom & Ewell, Councillor Lucie McIntyre, who joined College leaders in congratulating learners on everything they have achieved.
Executive Principal Kelly Phillips said:
“The Outstanding Achievement Awards and Prom is one of the most special evenings in the College calendar. It is an opportunity to celebrate not only our learners’ achievements, but also the remarkable personal journeys they have taken during their time with us. Every learner has overcome challenges, embraced new opportunities and achieved things to be incredibly proud of. We are delighted to celebrate alongside their families, carers and staff as they look forward to the next exciting chapter of their lives.”
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner before the celebrations continued well into the evening. The dance floor was full from the very first song, with a DJ keeping everyone entertained, while learners captured memories in the photo booth and with professional photographs. Glamorous balloon displays and a wonderful atmosphere made the evening one to remember.
