16-19 Tuition Fund

Orchard Hill College (OHC) is in receipt of the 16-19 tuition fund, we will be using this funding to support students who have an Education Health and Care Plan to transition back into the College. We will do this by delivering a recovery curriculum on a one to one basis to ensure our students can successfully transition back to full time learning. In addition we will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that resources are bespoke to each individual student. The recovery curriculum has been carefully designed to support our students to catch up on areas of learning they may have missed and to re-establish their learning routines at college. This approach will be individualised to each student but may include increased one to one support, additional induction and transition sessions or increased access to digital resources. The fund will also enable us to provide the following services to the students; counselling, drama therapy, music therapy and welfare officers in each College centre.
