Following an assessment by college staff, students can study at one of our ten vibrant college centres across London and Surrey. Each centre is different but all have strong links with the community.
All students are individual and each course is as unique as they are. Our courses are designed to support and empower each student to achieve their aspirations and goals.
This section provides information to help you apply for a place at Orchard Hill College. It provides dates for the Open Events where you can meet the teams, have a look at the College facilities and ask any questions you may have.
At Orchard Hill College we understand that parents/carers need to be involved in their child’s education. Communication between the College and parents/carers plays a vital role in ensuring students successfully achieve their potential during their time with us.
I have been Executive Principal of Orchard Hill College for five years. Before this, I spent many years as a specialist Lecturer in a range of educational provisions. I have a wealth of experience working with young people in both mainstream and specialist education and within the social care sector. I am driven by preparing students for adulthood and ensuring they are leaving the education system to achieve aspirational outcomes.
I have been a specialist SEND teacher for 17 years, teaching in both General FE and specialist provisions, with over 12 years’ experience in educational leadership. I am committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, valued and supported, and I firmly believe that all learners can and do achieve when high expectations are set, alongside the right support and opportunities.
I lead with a person-centred approach, with a strong focus on pastoral support, helping students build confidence, independence and life skills alongside their academic success. I believe in providing meaningful opportunities that prepare students for life, work and relationships beyond College.
I bring over 18 years experience working in specialist education across schools, colleges and wider SEND systems. Since joining Orchard Hill College in 2020, I have held senior leadership roles and am now Principal, contributing to three consecutive Outstanding Ofsted judgements, most recently in 2025.
I am committed to creating inclusive, high-quality provision where learners with complex needs are supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. My leadership is grounded in strong relationships, high expectations and a belief that every learner can achieve when education is carefully designed around individual strengths and needs.
A key focus of my work is developing meaningful curricula, Positive Behaviour Support and strong partnerships with staff, governors and local authorities. I am passionate about ensuring learners are well prepared for adulthood, with the confidence, skills and opportunities needed to lead fulfilling lives beyond College.
