Banksy inspires student artist

Whilst learning about independent travel in Croydon, keen artist, Matthew came across a shop display of modern art by the graffiti artist ‘Banksy’. Matthew took time to look at the different window displays which were very visually engaging and really captured his attention. Matthew likes to create graffiti style art, so we look forward to seeing if his next piece is influenced by what he has seen.

Matthew is known at college for his unusual art, he has previously completed junk art workshops, which use non-traditional art utensils. Above you can see a piece he has made using old vinyl records!

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
