Christmas in the Community: Kingston

Students from Beaconsfield, our centre in New Malden, enjoyed a wonderful celebration at Kingston Christmas Market. The event was part three of our ‘Christmas in the Community’ festive tour around each of our hubs, and today we were performing carols and Christmas songs in the bustling market.

We were joined by pupils from Bedelsford School, Dysart School and St Philip’s School, so it was a real OHC&AT family celebration. Students arrived early to have a look around the market and scope out any potential gifts! The performance soon began and everyone was  singing along to all the Christmas hits, beaming with festive cheer.

Students had rehearsed their set and sang a beautiful selection of songs, finishing with a solo from our resident musician! The celebration was truly wonderful, and it was fantastic to have the support of so many shoppers who stopped to watch the performance.

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
