Community Blend Cafe at Sutton Life Centre
We were excited to launch our café at Sutton Life Centre on the 13th April!
The café offers students hands‑on experience in a real working environment. Students receive training, including operating the coffee machine, completing safety checks, and developing customer service skills.
Students enjoy coming to work and building their confidence, learning through practice, teamwork, and responsibility. The café has become a positive space where students feel proud of what they achieve every day.
Now in its second week of it being open, the café is already making a strong impression on the local community. Feedback from the public has been positive, with many customers returning for a barista coffee.
Our loyalty card scheme has been well received and the café is enjoying a steady flow of customers. It is growing into a happy community space bringing together students, staff, and the locals over great coffee and shared purpose.
