Congratulations from the team to our 2026 Marathon runners

Many congratulations and a massive thank you to our fantastic London Marathon runners, trustee Tim Borrie and Sam Bartram who works across the College. They both completed the 26.2miles on a very sunny London morning and raised over £5000 in the process.

Tim said, “It was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done! I am so proud that I finished, it was really tough at times but knowing what a great charity I was running for gave me what I needed to push through.”

Sam said, Thank you to everyone at the college for your incredible support, kindness and generosity. The college’s work is truly life‑changing and deserves to be celebrated. The months of training were tough, but worth it.”

They were cheered on by family and friends as well as colleagues from across the Trust led by SJ, the Head of Fundraising.

SJ said, “We are incredibly grateful to Tim and Sam for their amazing fundraising effort. Their hard work and commitment will make a real difference for the young people we support, helping us to continue delivering inclusive, specialist education and opportunities to thrive.”
