Deaf Awareness Week

This week we are proud to be celebrating Deaf Awareness Week. At the college we support students who are deaf and have hearing impairments to achieve their goals and ambitions.

Max, a student from Wyvern House who has an hearing impairment has secured a work placement at Savers and is developing his customer service skills. Max has also been working on a college enterprise and has been selling goods at a stall in Uxbridge Market. We are so proud of how hard Max has worked at college and his determination to achieve his goals.

Thank you to our member of staff, Soraya who has shared her experience working at the college:

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
