End of term celebrations

As the summer term draws to a close, students, families, carers, and staff have been coming together across the College to celebrate the end of another successful academic year. These gatherings offered a chance not only to reflect on the achievements of the past year but also an opportunity for students to meet with their friends and for families to connect with one another within the college community.

This year’s celebrations were made even more special by the glorious summer weather, which brought sunshine and warmth to events across Hillingdon, Sutton, Kingston, and Southwark.

Festivities kicked off in the Kingston region with a lively barbecue, where resident DJ Matt from the staff team kept spirits high with a great mix of music. The event was a hit, with families enjoying delicious food and dancing in the sun. The student’s enterprise project also had a successful day, selling handmade clocks crafted from vinyl records and custom-designed t-shirts.

Next, the Sutton region joined in the fun by taking part in the Wallington Music Festival. The Old Town Hall was opened up to host a variety of workshops and activities, including circus skills and baking sessions. Refreshments were served as students, staff, and families mingled and enjoyed the atmosphere.

In Southwark, the garden at Lomond House became the perfect setting for a relaxed picnic afternoon. Students and families took part in garden games and activities, making the most of the sunny weather.

The final celebration took place in Hillingdon, where a barbecue and games afternoon was held at Uxbridge Football Club. Students showcased their enterprise items once again, while families enjoyed the food, games, and festive atmosphere.
