Farewell Tea Party

VPC created the perfect summer tea party on their roof garden as they prepared for the arrival of their guest of honour. They hung out the bunting, placed fresh flowers in jam jars decorated with ribbons and set the tables with the their best china. Students baked cakes, prepared sandwiches and produced a beautiful handmade card to wish Caroline Allen OBE – Principal and CEO of Orchard Hill College a fond farewell. After 32 years, Caroline is retiring, and staff and students were keen to spend some quality time with her, reminiscing, sharing stories and to wish her lots of luck for the future.

Caroline appreciated the effort staff and students had gone to and loved the hand sewn and decorated tote bag she was presented with, but above all she appreciated sharing her tea party with students.
