Former Principal and CEO honoured with a damehood

The New Year’s Honours list recognises the exceptional achievements or service of people across the UK. We would like to congratulate Dr Caroline Allen, former Principal and Chief Executive of the Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust (OHC&AT) who has been recently been honoured with a damehood for services to education.

Dr Caroline Allen, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be receiving this Honour. I have been privileged to work with very talented students with special needs and with highly skilled staff, senior leaders, Board members and governors at Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust. It is a unique and remarkable organisation and I owe the achievement of this Honour to the support and commitment of the people there.”

Dr Caroline Allen, retired from OHC&AT at the end of August 2019 after 32 years with the organisation.
