Happy National Apprenticeship Week

We are thrilled to be celebrating National Apprenticeship Week this week with some exciting news from some of our apprentices.

We were pleased to have a new apprentice who joined us this month and is working at Bedelsford School. Joe’s long term career plan is to become a speech and language therapist. Joe feels his Teaching Assistant (TA) Apprenticeship will be a valuable step in gaining the required knowledge, experience and skills he needs to achieve his career aims. Joe is working towards his Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths, alongside his TA Apprenticeship programme.

Alongside this we are thrilled that one apprentice from Addington Valley Academy achieved her Supporting Teaching and Learning Apprenticeship this week! She also successfully achieved her Level 2 English and Maths, as part of her Apprenticeship programme and is planning to progress on to the Diploma in Education and Training programme this September 2021.

 

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
