If the Boots fits…

Tharsiga from our Vocational Centre in Wandsworth is delighted to be starting a work placement at Boots. She currently attends the hair and beauty vocational course, so having the opportunity to work in the makeup department is enabling her to develop her skills further. She had her induction where she was shown around the shop, introduced to her colleagues and given an overview of what she will be doing at work.

Tharsiga will be based on the shop floor assisting customers, replenishing stock and working with the team in this busy high street shop.

This is a fantastic achievement and we wish her all the best in her role.

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
