Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy team offer a range of specialist programmes and interventions  that are bespoke to the physical health needs of students. These are integrated into the curriculum ensuring that they are delivered in a continuous and functional way by staff supporting the student.  Physiotherapists ensure students are in an optimal position to access the curriculum.  Detailed assessments are undertaken to establish student specific needs.  Bespoke plans are created by the physiotherapist and implemented by curriculum staff to support students. The Physiotherapists work with the curriculum team to ensure all staff are optimally trained and competent around manual handling and postural management.
