Job Description
Your role will be to assist the Head of Learning Centre to manage a department including leading on a specific curriculum area, assisting with the development of the curriculum, allocation of resources, supervision and support of staff to ensure effective, learner-centred teaching that meets the needs of adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This will involve working in collaboration with carers, therapists and personnel from Social Services, as well as internal colleagues. You will also work with the management team to further develop the College into a valuable resource centre for fellow professionals.

Person Specification
You should have a thorough understanding of EC levels (AEC1-10, E2/E3) and have substantial outstanding or good teaching experience with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. It is essential that you have DTLLS or an equivalent teaching qualification and have experience in leading a team of Lecturers. You should also be used to planning educational programmes. Experience of behaviour support would be beneficial.
