Location: Wyvern House, Uxbridge, UB8 2XN Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All year round

Job Description

Your duties will include effective planning of teaching within designed curriculum areas, implementing appropriate assessment, objective setting, recording, reporting and evaluation of educational programmes. You will also ensure that student learning experiences are organised in a progression which supports the development of each individual.

It is desirable that you have or are working towards a DET (Diploma in Education and Training) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Successful candidates must have substantial experience of teaching students with special educational needs in any of the following areas;

– Profound and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities

– Entry Level 1- 3

– Level 1

– SEMH
