Person Specification

We require Specialist Physiotherapists (Band 6) to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including SALT’s OT’s and Music Therapists). You will support our students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will also work very closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as educating and supporting teaching staff in such aspects as postural management, manual handling, delivering therapy programmes, aquatic therapy and use of specialised equipment. In addition the post will involve delivering training to other staff and provision of aquatic therapy. Band 6 Therapists will be responsible to and supported by the Band 7 equivalent Physiotherapist as well as the Lead for Therapies.
