Job Description
Newly expanded as an academy trust with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating, our friendly and successful Therapy team works in partnership with lecturers/teachers and support staff in our further education provisions and Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust sites. Therapy Assistants are the conduit between our Therapy and Curriculum teams and by championing the role of therapy, they enable our students to better access the curriculum.
We provide a non-residential, stimulating learning environment for students/pupils across a wide range of diagnoses including moderate/severe/and profound learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, mental health and additional diagnoses.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Therapy Assistant to work as part of the interdisciplinary team under the guidance of teachers, therapists, learning support assistants and senior care staff. You should have experience of working, caring or voluntary work with people who have special needs, and the ability to support the work of the Therapists. Experience of working within a team is also essential. We deliver a range of courses to our students throughout the year and need our staff to work at any centre.
