We are open and, in accordance with government guidelines, we are working to gradually increase the number of students who can return to college safely over the summer term.

As always, we are here to support you, if you are uncertain about what to do please email enquiries@orchardhill.ac.uk

Extracurricular Offer

We offer a range of exciting self-funded activities, days out and programmes. These are separate to students’ educational government funded programmes.

Enrichment activities are fun and social programmes delivered in college and the local community. They take place on most Fridays throughout the year. Activities include educational trips, trampolining, cricket, music, art and more.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is available for students to join at college. Students have the opportunity to gain new skills, experiences, have fun, make new friends and build self-esteem and confidence, all while gaining a recognised mark of their achievements.

Holiday Programmes are available outside of term time and include fun days out and a range of activities, such as creative arts, baking and sport.

Residential Programmes are short breaks at purpose built activity centres and field centres. Students can take part in a range of activities including campfire building, pizza making, bushcraft, orienteering, hiking, sports and games.

If you would like to be considered for a place, or you require further information, please contact our Student Services team on 0345 402 0453 to request an application form.

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
