Move for Ramadan

Our students and staff are continuing on their cross-college competition to walk enough steps to be the equivalent of walking to Mecca by Ramadan!

Last week we had an incredible week and the competition has really opened up, any centre could still grab first place! Camberwell made a fantastic comeback last week finishing 2nd and 1st, 2nd and 3rd all achieved over one million steps. All regions have now exceeded 1200 miles each!

A few groups from across the college have been using the opportunity to walk to their peers houses to say a socially distanced hello and to help keep everyone motivated. A number of groups have also managed to reach a new country every week and have been linking this to their learning by exploring the culture and language of that country.

Below you can see the results from last week:

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
