Orchard Hill College mentioned in the House of Lords

We are thrilled to share that our college was mentioned in a recent House Of Lords debate as an example of excellent collaboration between SEND and mainstream colleges.

Jacqui Smith, minister for Skills and Labour Spokesperson for Education, in the House of Lords quoted our partnership with Crawley College. We are so proud to have been recognised in such a prestigious environment. Jacqui said: “We have also seen some really positive partnerships between specialist and mainstream colleges that enhance the educational experience for children and young people with SEND. For example, Orchard Hill College and Crawley College have collaborated to support learners with complex health needs, enabling them to access mainstream courses with tailored care plans”.
