Orchard Hill College student explores Wimbledon ahead of The 2026 Championships!

Orchard Hill College student, Olusola, enjoyed a day out with Digital Learning Developer, Simon Adams for a behind-the-scenes visit to one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues.

Olusola and Simon spent the day at the Wimbledon Tennis Grounds as part of Olusola’s work experience. With a strong passion for tennis, Olusola was keen to gain insight into what it is like to work at a professional tennis ground.

During the visit, the pair enjoyed a guided tour of the prestigious grounds, including a look at the facilities used by some of the world’s top tennis players. They also explored the famous courts and immersed themselves in the rich history and traditions of The Championships at the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.

The trip proved both inspiring and memorable. To capture the experience, Olusola and Simon worked together to create a short film showcasing the highlights of their day.
