Orchard Hill College to open cafe at Sutton Life Centre

We are delighted to announce that we are taking over the cafe at the Sutton Life Centre, with plans to reopen the refreshed space to the public after the Easter holidays.

The cafe previously run by Nickel Support will undergo a period of transition and a light makeover before reopening providing a dedicated training environment for Orchard Hill College students. The college is working closely with Nickel Support and Sutton Council to ensure a smooth handover and to build on the fantastic foundations already in place.

Once open the cafe at Sutton Life Centre will provide students with hands on experience in hospitality, customer service, food preparation and teamwork, helping them build confidence and gain vital skills for future employment.

Executive Principal, Kelly Phillips from Orchard Hill College said: “We’re really excited to be taking on the cafe at the Sutton Life Centre. This will be a fantastic space for our students to learn, grow and engage with the community. We look forward to welcoming customers after Easter and will be sharing updates as work progresses.”
