Our Christmas card competition winner!

The Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust (OHC&AT) annual Christmas card competition is always a wonderful opportunity for pupils and students across the family to share their creative skills.

This year we were delighted to have artist Doug Shaw as our independent judge. Doug is local to VPC, our centre in Carshalton. He has previously worked with our students, so it was lovely to involve him in this competition.

The standard of work was so high that Doug selected two winners, one from the schools and one from college. The college’s winning piece was by Kayleigh from VPC. Doug commended her technique: “I like the way Kayleigh has used such bold colours to represent a traditional Christmas symbol. It’s very warm and eye-catching.”

Congratulations, Kayleigh, and to everyone who joined in.

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
