Power of Specialist FE Campaign Gains National Spotlight
A campaign video created for Natspec Week in December is being shared on a national stage.
The Power of Specialist FE video, originally produced to support Natspec Week and shared across social channels, will open the national SEND conference hosted by the Association of Colleges. The video will be shown as part of the opening session, alongside an overview of the wider campaign.
The campaign was deliberately designed to take a step back from individual colleges and focus on the collective impact of specialist further education – the learners, the staff, the outcomes – as well as the long-term value specialist provision brings to young people with SEND.
Feedback from Natspec has been overwhelmingly positive, with the organisation highlighting how clearly the film captures the purpose, professionalism and power of specialist FE.
With SEND provision under pressure and specialist FE often misunderstood, having the video used to open a national conference puts the message exactly where it needs to be.
