We were delighted to attend the South London Best Learner and Teacher Awards. This prestigious ceremony was held at the House of Lords and hosted by Lord Graham Tope CBE on behalf of the Committee of South London Principals. Two students, Danny and Jack received awards for their outstanding progress at College. This award is a great acknowledgment of their hard work and commitment. Danny’s journey has been remarkable after starting as a student at the College, he has gone on to complete an Apprenticeship and has now become a Learning Support Assistant. Jack attended a WorkStart course at the College, his hard work and dedication have led him to secure a job at HSBC in Canary Wharf. Melissa Shepherd, Head of Work Based Learning also received an award for her commitment to ensuring that all our students can access work opportunities.

John Prior, CEO of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust and Kelly Phillips, Principal were thrilled to be in attendance and present the awards to our students and staff. The event was a wonderful opportunity to share stories of so many inspirational young people in Further Education.
