Aidan, a student from Wyvern House has been working on creating a YouTube channel. He has been working with his lecturer and the Digital Lead to learn about E-safety when setting up a social media channel. He has created the YouTube channel to appeal to the gaming and social media market. His following is increasing with each video he is posting; his target is to have more than 100 views as a starting point.
Aidan created a logo and printed this on some T-shirts as part of a marketing campaign. He sold these at the Christmas Market Stall in Uxbridge. This went really well and Aidan is looking to expand this side of this future business at the monthly market stall that OHC have each week.
Aidan said “I have created my personal brand name, ‘Night Shark 999’ which I got the idea from Grand Theft Auto, a game I enjoy playing. I love my digital skills sessions at college and uploading my content every day on my YouTube channel. Most of the time this includes gaming videos, which I have learnt to share with staff in college. I also want other students to watch my videos!”
