Student enterprise in action

Students in The Shard class at Lomond House are running their own juice-making enterprise, working together to produce fresh, healthy juices using fruit and vegetables.

Every student plays a role in the process, from preparing ingredients to operating the juicer with some using switches to take part independently. The juices are then sold to staff and students, giving the group real experience of teamwork and enterprise.

Complete with their own branded aprons, the project is a brilliant example of practical skills, independence and confidence in action.
