Students interview Sutton Council Director for ‘Education Unfiltered’ podcast

Orchard Hill College students Morgan and Joseph sat down with Kieran Holliday, Director of Education, Integrated Support and Safer Communities at Sutton Council, for an insightful episode of their podcast, Education Unfiltered.

During the interview they explored a wide range of topics, including support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), the role of mobile phones in schools, the use of social media and AI and even Kieran’s favourite football team and childhood inspirations.

Kieran spoke about the work being carried out across Sutton to help young people succeed, the challenges they face, and the importance of education.

The discussion also provided an insight into Kieran’s role within the Council, offering listeners a clearer understanding of how his work influences the experiences of learners who rely on SEN support.

Recorded at the Sutton Civic Offices, the conversation was led by Morgan and Joseph, who posed thoughtful and engaging questions. They were supported by Simon, E-learning Assessor and Digital Learning Lead, who provided additional insight and guidance throughout the session.
