Supporting the Power of Specialist Further Education

Orchard Hill College is supporting ‘The Power of Specialist Further Education’ – a national awareness week from 1- 5 December 2025, coordinated by Natspec, which celebrates the transformative impact of specialist further education.

The opening of Sutton Life Centre coincides with Awareness Week, and is an opportunity to spark conversations, inspire change, and drive awareness of the power of specialist FE provision working in collaboration with local community partners.

We also join the campaign to show our support in calling on policy makers and decision takers to recognise the value of specialist FE and its essential place within an inclusive education system – driving aspirational outcomes.

Our students are true advocates for change. On 2nd December, a dedicated group will head to Westminster to interview MPs and share powerful insights into how Orchard Hill College is preparing them for life beyond education. Their voices will be heard far and wide, starting with an upcoming podcast. Stay tuned.
