In November we had a busy week of Transition Events across College. The aim of these events is to provide information and advice on what provisions students
can access in the local area and information on next steps after College. They are attended by our students and their parents and carers; we also invite other schools
from the local area and Orchard Hill College Academy Trust to attend.
The week kicked off in Kingston, where we were pleased to welcome a number of stall holders from the local area, along with representatives from Bedelsford and St
Philip’s Schools. Our next event took place in Southwark, where we had a brilliant turnout at the Salvation Army hall opposite Lomond House and we were pleased to
be joined by Tuke School. Bubble Club, who run accessible club nights attended and students were able to try out their DJing skills and mix some songs!
Following this we had another great turnout at Park View Centre in Hillingdon.
Lastly, our students and staff from Sutton attended the Preparing for Adulthood event hosted by the London Borough of Sutton at Sutton Life Centre. The events all
went really well and were key in building partnerships and networking.
