Music Therapist – Fixed Term Contract to July 2020 (Lecturer & Management Pay Scale, £15,936 - £17,467 per annum including London Weighting Allowance (FTE £40,679 - £44,611 per annum))

Location: Vocational Centre, Wandsworth, SW17 7DF and Wyvern House, Uxbridge, UB8 2XN, however travel to other sites and locations may be required. Hours: 15 hours per week, 2 days per week, Term Time plus 4 weeks

A vacancy has recently arisen for a Music Therapist to work for 2 days per week at Orchard Hill College.  Students follow a personalised programme, supported by specialist personal tutors, therapists and nurses, including work and community-based learning opportunities that reflect student aspirations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated music therapist who will work collaboratively with other therapists and teaching staff at the College, with the aim of providing a holistic therapeutic approach to their work with students.

Music Therapy is part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team at College, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

Your caseload will be initially based in College centres located in Wandsworth and Uxbridge, although you may be expected to work at any of the College venues.

Tutor of Customer Service Apprenticeships (Lecturer scale £15,178 - £19,771 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, (FTE £30,357 - £39,542 per annum))

Location: Quadrant House, Sutton, SM2 5AS however will be required to travel to College and Academy sites in London, Surrey and Sussex Hours: 18 hours per week, all year round

Based within the Training and Apprenticeships team, you will assist the management team in the development of Orchard Hill College and Academy Trust as a professional resource and deliver training opportunities internally and externally. You will work closely with the Head of Apprenticeships to deliver the apprenticeship programme. The College is an approved provider of apprenticeship training and has been offering apprenticeships in Healthcare Support, Supporting Teaching and Learning, and Customer Service from April 2018.

Student EHCP Review Officer (£19,088 - £22,015 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance (FTE £22,377 to £25,809 per annum))

Location: Uxbridge, UB8 2XN Hours: 36 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week in non-Term Time

Orchard Hill College is a non-residential National Specialist College for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities and we have an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to join our team.

Working alongside the Assessments and Placements team, you will liaise with College staff, students, parents, carers, professionals, and visitors to lead on providing administrative support for the College in relation to student reviews, bursary and free school meals whilst maintaining the high standards for the College.

Curriculum Lead / Senior Lecturer (£40,679 - £44,611 per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance)

Location: Vocational Centre, Nightingale Community Academy, Beechcroft Road, Tooting, SW17 7DF Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, All year round

Start date:  January 2020, subject to clearance checks

Contract:  1 year

We are looking for someone to provide specific curriculum expertise for teaching teams, modelling good practice and assisting the Head of Learning Centre in the management of quality of teaching and learning within a department.
