Vocational course success

By Adrian Notter - October 15th, 2019 | Posted in News

Our vocational courses are in full swing this term and students are enjoying accessing a range of courses including; Animal Care, Horticulture, Building Maintenance, Catering and Hospitality, Health and Beauty and Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Students are developing new skills and meeting peers from across the college who share similar interests to them. They are working towards an accreditation, giving them a great start in their chosen career paths.

A number of students from last year have successfully moved on after completing a vocational course. One student who was on the Catering and Hospitality course and has gone on to secure a work placement at “The American Cooking School” in Central London working in the canteen. Another who completed the Motor Vehicle Maintenance course secured a work placement at “Wheels for Well-being” in Ladywell.
