We did it!

At the end of term, our cross-college competition to walk enough steps to be the equivalent of walking to Mecca by Ramadan, came to an end. We are pleased to announce that we made it! Collectively students and staff across college walked enough steps make it further than London to New Zealand. In total we walked 15,328 miles and completed 44,115,517 steps.

We are so proud of everyone who took part and hope that everyone keeps staying active and healthy.

Here is a breakdown of our steps by centre:

1st Beaconsfield and Vocational Centre – 3725 miles enough miles to reach Saudi Arabia (just outside Mecca).

2nd VPC and Garratt House  – 3586 miles, enough miles to reach Saudi Arabia.

3rd Lomond House and Camberwell Road – 2948 miles, enough miles to reach Saudi Arabia.

4th WorkStart students – 2824 miles, enough miles to reach Iraq.

5th Wyvern House – 2245 miles, enough miles to reach Turkey.
