Work experience at John Lewis!

Joseph, one of our Year 3 students, is having a fantastic time on his work placement at John Lewis. Working in the bustling café of one of the chain’s larger stores, Joseph is working front of house and is responsible for maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for customers. His varied role is equipping him with a number of skills essential for the workplace including customer service, time management, teamwork, being proactive and managing a diverse workload.

He’s having a great time and work, saying “I really enjoy meeting customers”, and needless to say, Joseph’s parents are extremely proud and have visited him in his workplace.

Equipped with the qualifications he’s gaining at college; this work experience will be a huge boost to Joseph’s career goals after finishing his course. Well done, Joseph, we’ll see you at work for a cuppa soon!

As a result of outstanding teaching, over time students make excellent progress and develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals.
