Work Experience Success

This term Garratt House student, Billy started his first ever work experience placement in computer games specialist shop CEX in Croydon.

Billy is very interested in computer games, so this assignment is the perfect fit.

Billy confidently introduced himself to the store manager and explained why her was there. He then followed instructions from the manager who showed him how to change pricing labels on the games and DVDs.

Billy also checked to make sure the DVDs were inside the covers and put them in the correct alphabetical order. Billy focussed well on his tasks and will be rewarded every four weeks with a game of his choice up to the value of £30.

Billy, said: “I love this job!” and he is keen to continue with it after he leaves college.
