Work Placement at Salvation Army

Chile, a student from Lomond House started a work placement at The Salvation Army in Brixton. He has been working really hard towards getting a placement so is very happy with his new role.

He is an assistant caretaker and has been completing tasks such as clearing pathways, cleaning windows and other jobs.

Since starting the placement, the time Chile spends completing different tasks has continued to increase and it is clear to see that he is really enjoying his placement!

Jasmin, Learning Support Assistant said “It is really impressive to see how well Chile is doing at The Salvation Army. I am so proud of all his hard work and dedication!”

Outcomes for learners are outstanding, teaching, learning and assessment are excellent and the extremely diverse programmes that meet learners’ individual needs, interests and aspirations, prepare them very well for life after College.
